The Alabama football team celebrated their 16th national championship with a ceremony on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The Alabama football team, staff and fans got together for a celebration for the Crimson Tide’s 16th national championship on Saturday. The festivities included a ceremony held on the steps of Bryant-Denny Stadium as well as a parade just before that part got started.

If you would have added a football game into the mix, it would have looked like a fall Saturday in Tuscaloosa. There was a great crowd on hand with a sea of crimson stretching as far as the eyes could see.

You could tell that this one was a special one for the fans and team, possibly more special than the others Coach Nick Saban has been apart of during his time in Tuscaloosa. A lot of the national media counted the Tide down and out after the loss to Ole Miss and wondered if the SEC had lost the title of the best conference in college football. As SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey said during his speech at the ceremony, “No one is wondering anymore”.

If you missed the ceremony on TV or couldn’t attend, it will be replayed later this evening on SEC Network and will more than likely be available on the WatchESPN app.

Check out some of the pictures and video below from some of the media and fans that were in attendance for the celebration.
