On some campuses around the south, spring football is underway. At some, things are getting started just a bit later. However, the goal is the same. Every team wants to win the SEC Championship at the end of the season and have a chance to play in the College Football Playoff for a national title.

Only one team in the conference knows about that last one. I’ll give you two guesses on which one and the first guess doesn’t count.

Spring football will take us into April, but what will we football fans do after that? I’ll tell you. You will see the winner of the SEC Football Off-Season Championship appear right before your eyes.

You know what I’m talking about, but you may not realize it. The media and college football fans alike will all see something in the vanilla offenses of the spring games and the contenders for the off-season title will start being talked about before we know it.

If you think back to last season, you will remember who the winners were then. Heisman trophies and national titles had all been awarded before the first kickoff of the year. This year will be no different.

We will have you prepared for who the top mentions will be for this prestigious title so you will see it coming. Some are the same ones from every single year.
