The Alabama basketball seniors shared some heartfelt tweets on Tuesday night after the loss in the NIT to Creighton.

ICYMI: The NCAA is Ridiculous

It definitely wasn’t the ending to the Alabama basketball season that we had all hoped for, but that certainly doesn’t give Tide fans a reason to be any less proud for the players and staff for what they accomplished this season.

The 2015-2016 season came to a close on Tuesday with 72-54 loss to Creighton in Omaha, NE. Some may think that an early round loss in the NIT isn’t something worth mentioning, but it means that much more when everyone is pretty much counting you out before the season even starts. That doesn’t even count the four wins against top 25 opponents this season.

Regardless of the finish, the foundation has been set by Coach Avery Johnson, the rest of the staff, and the players.

Retin Obasohan and Arthur Edwards shared their feelings on Twitter after the game about this season as well as the future for Alabama basketball. It’s the type of messages you want to see from players representing Alabama.

If you are an Alabama fan and those tweets don’t make you proud and to want to give a “Roll Tide” to the person next to you, nothing in this world will. Here is what Edwards had to say after the game.
