Here’s what Alabama Football head coach Nick Saban had to say about Monday’s spring practice.
Alabama Football was back at practice on Monday after getting the spring break off, here’s what Nick Saban had to say about it.
According to Nick Saban, LG Ross Pierschbacher has taken snaps at center during the first two practices.... Interesting! #Alabama

A few Alabama notes from Nick Saban today. Rashaan Evans working out at ILB and Ross Pierschbacher at center for first two practices.

Could Ross Pierschbacher be Alabama’s new center? A mention from Nick Saban usually means you’re either doing something very right or very wrong.
#Bama CNS: Everybody made it back. Had a good practice. Had more guys doing it right than we had the practice before (spring break).
— Ken Rogers (@DEBamabeat) March 21, 2016
Lets all be thankful that there were no Spring Break fiasco stories this year.
#Bama CNS: We tell players when they go on spring break, we would like for you to work out 4 times. We'll know the players who worked out.
— Ken Rogers (@DEBamabeat) March 21, 2016
Not that the players just had the whole week off.
Saban: What will it take for you to become a complete player is what I ask the players.
— Aaron Suttles (@AaronSuttles) March 21, 2016
Nick Saban is never satisfied. You have to love that even after winning it all last year Nick Saban is now wholly focused on making the new team the best it can be.
Saban: "You can't be casual when you approach spring practice. Spring practice is like a project, man. It's like we're building a new house."
— Alex Byington (@_AlexByington) March 21, 2016
A house that has a living room full of trophy cases we hope!
Nick Saban: There is a standard that we need to do it to and everybody needs to understand that.
— Aaron Suttles (@AaronSuttles) March 21, 2016
Saban speak is eternal, it’s there for spring practice and it’s there before the National Championship. Saban is always preparing to win it all.
Nick Saban is talking a lot of hoops here. Must be #MarchMadness.
— LaurenSisler (@LaurenSisler) March 21, 2016
Nick Saban is however only human.
#Bama CNS: Damien Harris and Bo Scarbrough both more ready to compete at RB this year. Both have looked good through 2 practices.
— Ken Rogers (@DEBamabeat) March 21, 2016
Most think Bo Scarbrough will run away with this thing, so this could be interesting. Could we have another Sims and Coker situation with Damien Harris as the Blake Sims starting over the fan favorite? Not that running back is the same as quarterback, Bama will certainly play both next year.
#Bama CNS: OJ Howard's an outstanding player. There are things he can improve and there are things we can improve to better utilize him.
— Ken Rogers (@DEBamabeat) March 21, 2016
OJ is going to get so much hype after the National Championship, can he live up to it this season?
Saban on Reuben Foster: He played well for us last year. We don't have any player that doesn't need to get better. We have no Seth Currys.
— Aaron Suttles (@AaronSuttles) March 21, 2016
Such a Nick Saban comment, we can all get better.
