It was announced earlier this week that three representatives from the Alabama football team will be in attendance for the 2016 NFL Draft.

The even will take place on April 28 at the Chicago Theater.

Three former Tide standouts heading to the Windy City are linebacker Reggie Ragland, and defensive linemen A’Shawn Robinson as well as Jarran Reed. There is recently been a lot of Alabama flavor on hand for the draft since Coach Saban arrived and this season is no different.

With those three attending, this would a good time to share the some tidbits of their scouting from our

NFL Mocks

Division.

They currently have Robinson being selected somewhere in the top-15 and they call him one of the best, if not the best defensive lineman in this draft class. They do give him the highest marks in run stuffing. Robinson also displays a great deal of athleticism for a man that large and they add no one of the opposite side of the line can match his strength.

According to the site, Robinson only utilizes his strength and quickness to the quarterback, but hardly uses move except for the Bull Rush. They also noted that he seems to take off plays at times.

There must be something in the water with all of these defensive lineman getting praise for stopping the run. That was sarcasm. True to form thus far in their scouting, NFL Mocks called Jarran Reed possibly the best run stopper in the class.

They wrote that there was not too much to dislike about his game except for pass rushing a little. That’s another first-rounder they see, coming off the board from 20-28.

Last but certainly not least is linebacker Reggie Ragland. I wonder if they noticed how quickly he can cover sideline to sideline? They did. They also mentioned his instincts which is one trait that you know he picked up from Saban so that he could stay in position and read the screens and pursue to perfection.

When they say you are already an NFL First-Rounder in terms of size, football IQ, and instincts, you are already set in stone. He projected to go 10-20 and NFL Mocks said they whichever team gets him, will have a stud All-Pro linebacker ready to go.
