Wednesday will be a somber day as folks around the south remember that terrible day. This is an excellent read. Many folks don’t know, but Nick Saban did many things for folks after the tornado that wasn’t even publicized. He and Mrs. Terry did them to help out and without fan fare.

Baseball Suffers Walkoff Loss, 2-1, at No. 3 Texas A&M on Sunday

(RollTide.com)

"Alabama baseball fell in heartbreaking fashion, 2-1, to third-ranked Texas A&M on another walkoff single to end the game. With the loss, the Aggies claim the series win while the Tide moves to 24-17 overall and 9-9 in conference play.“The guys played their tails off all three games, and put themselves in position to win all three games,” said Alabama head coach Mitch Gaspard. “Today, you have to tip your hat to Nick Eicholtz. He battled. He’s been battling stomach issues, was throwing up before the game, and he comes out and gives us a terrific outing. All of our bullpen pieces did a great job on the mound, too.”"

If you were tuned in for this one, it hurt. Alabama won the second game of the series on Saturday to even things up, but it wasn’t the ending we all wanted. Alabama will face Samford next on Tuesday in Birmingham. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. CT.
