11. Size Up Joe Namath’s Hands at Denny Chimes

Smack in the center of campus, you’ll find a 115-foot tall tower called Denny Chimes.  The chimes sound every hour on the hour, and if you listen closely on game days, you might catch the ringing of “Yea, Alabama”.

Behind the Chimes on the Quad lays the Walk of Fame. Similar to the celebrity handprints-in-cement you might find in Hollywood, the University of Alabama Walk of Fame is home to the hand and footprints of every Crimson Tide football captain since 1948.

You can place your hands in the cement prints of Bama greats like Joe Namath, Kenny Stabler, Shaun Alexander, AJ McCarron, and most recently, the four captains of the 2015 National Championship Team: Jacob Coker, Derrick Henry, Ryan Kelly, and Reggie Ragland.

Some of the older prints have started to fade, so be sure to mark this off your Bucket List ASAP while you can still clearly touch the hands of greatness.
