12. Wake Up With ESPN’s College GameDay

Because of the storied success of the Alabama football program, ESPN’s College Gameday is becoming as common of a sight on a home-game Saturdays as the Big Bad Wolves truck.

Nothing brings out the Bammer in all of us like getting up at the crack of dawn, putting on a crimson and white mohawk wig and doing some free advertising for Rick and Bubba (Writer’s note: Please stop doing this) behind the Gameday crew’s setup. If you’ve never been to Gameday during one of its many visits to Tuscaloosa:  1) Where have you been? 2) You MUST go. It really is a pretty cool experience and is great for some self-esteem-boosting people watching.

An early morning Bama-football pep-rally is always a good time; why not go to one that’s being nationally televised? Also, I’ll let you in on a not-so-little secret: you probably don’t have too many more opportunities to see the ol’-Corso Headgear routine before it’s retired forever.
