13. Chow Down On Wings At Buffalo Phil’s

A stone’s throw away (or in normal terms, 1 block) from Gallettes, you’ll find another Tuscaloosa institution in Buffalo Phil’s Pub and Café.

Buffalo Phil’s is known for it’s laid-back atmosphere, fantastic wings, and that it accepts Dining Dollars, a broke college kid’s best friend. Phil’s has a large back room suitable for parties and a full-sized bar (also suitable for parties).

The entire place is covered in Crimson Tide memorabilia, including autographed pictures, pennants, helmets, and anything else someone has slapped a script A on and sold as a Bama souvenir. There’s a nice-sized outdoor eating area for days when you feel like grabbing a bite to eat and people-watching on The Strip. The service is always top-notch, the menu is large and can accommodate even the pickiest eaters, and the drinks, including the signature “Philibuster” are some of the best in T-Town.
