14. Head Over to Coleman Coliseum for a Bama Basketball Game

Football season brings in a ton of folks to the Tuscaloosa area but with what the basketball team is building, basketball needs to do the same thing.

In the past few seasons excluding the 2015-2016 season, attendance dropped off some because things just weren’t working out for the last coach. Alabama fans want to win at everything and if that isn’t happening, it starts to show. Enter Coach Avery Johnson and we all learned pretty quickly that we needed to buckle up.

Coach Johnson told us his first season was going to be a rough one, but it exceeded all expectations from most fans. No, we didn’t compete for a conference title or make the NCAA Tournament, but Coach Johnson and his staff started the foundation to get us there. Now, they need our support and the team needs fans in the seats at Coleman being rowdy.

If you caught a game last season, you could already tell that the crowds inside Coleman were more energized and next season will probably be even better.

When you are making your plans to attend athletic events, add a game or two at Coleman Coliseum to the list. We know you will be glad that you did.
