It’s where the coaches that have led the Alabama Crimson Tide to a national championship are honored and it’s a place that you must check out if you are in the area. Even visiting fans like to visit, but they usually have other reasons like placing different jerseys on the coaches. We are watching you. Just kidding.

They stand on the west side of the north end zone plaza and the team marches past each one of them during the Walk of Champions that takes place just before each home football game.

The statues honoring four head coaches was first debuted in 2006. Coach Nick Saban would later have his statue unveiled after winning the national title in 2009 against Texas. Behind each statue, the years that each won a the coveted prize for college football are engraved. The five coaches represented are Nick Saban, Wallace Wade, Frank Thomas, Bear Bryant, and Gene Stallings.

There are also plaques installed that honor the players and staff members from all of the national championship teams. The Tide has won many of those and it’s a great place to remember or look back at them all.
