Don’t get excited – even with Ohio State beginning alcohol sales in their stadium this fall, the University of Alabama will NOT be selling beer at Bryant-Denny anytime soon. However, if you get hungry or thirsty, you can visit any of the 75 concession stands at BDS throughout the game.

On a typical game day, there are over 700 workers from various nonprofit organizations around Tuscaloosa who operate Alabama football’s concession stands.  On average, they sell 7,000 pounds of nacho chips, 10,000 gallons of soda, and a whopping 18,000 bottles of water during the course of a home game. That’s CRAZY!

The university hasn’t released any info on the number of Denny Dogs sold each day, or exactly how many souvenir cups are bought during a season. Most Alabama football fans have a collection of “fine plastic china” from Bryant-Denny, especially now that the cups are different for each home game.  One thing is for sure, though – from nachos to Denny Dogs to Dreamland barbeque nachos – you won’t go hungry at BDS.
