Which four Bama-born athletes should be the faces atop an Alabama Sports Mount Rushmore?

ICYMI: Bama Bucket List: 25 Things All Crimson Tide Fans Must Do

Everyone knows that Mount Rushmore in South Dakota was created to honor four of the most influential presidents in American history. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Teddy Roosevelt’s faces are carved into the granite facing of the famous mountain in Keystone.

But who would we pick to place atop a similar mountain honoring those born in Alabama who have done amazing things in the world of sports? There are hundreds of truly phenomenal athletes from which we could choose, and even more in the making as we speak, so this was not an easy list to decide. Also, for what it’s worth, while we would LOVE to put Nick Saban on our mountain, the Alabama head coach hails from West Virginia, so unfortunately, he was not a candidate for this honor.

Having only four slots, I nominate these stellar athletes to the Alabama Sports Mount Rushmore.
