The first few drives of the Alabama Crimson Tide game against the USC Trojans didn’t work out the way anyone had anticipated. Redshirt freshman Blake Barnett started over junior Cooper Bateman, and was quickly replaced by true freshman Jalen Hurts. Hurts dropped the snap on his first play at the helm, and many fans were nervous about the next three quarters. The Tide’s defense kept them in the game while the offense worked out the kinks, and Hurts went on to score four touchdowns in his first career game at Bama.
