Arguments or Ass Chewings?

Head coach Nick Saban looks at OC Lane Kiffin and QB Jalen Jurts (2).

In the post game press conference, Nick Saban expressed his frustrations with the team. The head coach said, “I don’t know that I’ve been this disappointed after winning a game, maybe ever. I’m almost embarrassed that I didn’t do a better job for my team.”

When questioned about what appeared to be arguments between Saban and OC Lane Kiffin, the head coach quickly shut everyone down. “Those aren’t arguments. They’re ass-chewings.”

While the coach got a laugh of the media, it is assuredly no laughing matter. Saban did not continue to say what the “chewings” were about, but video from the game shows him laying into Kiffin following a stalled drive and forced field goal for Bama. Thankfully, there is no video to support a literal chewing by the head coach. 😉
