WKU QB Tyler Ferguson (7) tries to get away from Crimson Tide defensive lineman Dakota Ball (44) and defensive lineman Jonathan Allen (93).

This week, Tide standout defensive lineman Jonathan Allen logged one solo tackle and two assists, for three total tackles. He also worked with Dakota Ball to sack Western Kentucky quarterback Tyler Ferguson, and the Hilltoppers suffered a 15 yard loss.

Allen blocked a WKU field goal attempt in the second quarter to end the Hilltopperes’ potential scoring drive.

Look for Allen to be a huge part of the Tide’s defense in the coming weeks, especially as Bama faces SEC juggernauts such as Ole Miss and LSU.
