The Alabama linebacker with the Auburn tattoo (signifying his high school) … When I think of Reuben Foster, the first things that come to mind are speed and aggression. This is a linebacker that had to be taught how to tackle properly because he was hurting his own neck hitting people – so imagine the pain they felt if he hurt himself hurting them. That is NFL talent, folks.

It took the 6-foot-1, 228-pound Foster a while to get on the field in the extremely deep and talented linebacker corps at Alabama. First gaining notoriety with his crushing blows on kickoff coverage, Foster has been a mainstay and cornerstone of the 2016 Alabama defense with his elite run-stopping abilities and lightning-fast quickness sideline to sideline. When asked to be a pass defender, Foster has gotten the job done just like other Tide linebackers before him. Foster is the fastest linebacker Saban has had, and it has paid off so far in 2016 with an undefeated record.

Foster’s best fit is the Chicago Bears. The Soldier Field faithful would fall in love with Reuben Foster’s work ethic and intensity.
