The 2016 Alabama football team claimed another SEC Championship Saturday against the Florida Gators. But what did we learn watching the play unfold in Atlanta?

With each passing week we’ll learn more about the 2016 Crimson Tide squad.  We’ll spot trends as they emerge and puzzle at both the positive and negative outliers throughout the Alabama Football season.

In this weekly feature I’ll highlight a handful of the lessons this team is teaching me.

Trust the Process

My, this has been an eventful week in the world of college football, and for Alabama football in particular. The Tide is down two quarterbacks and now an Offensive Coordinator.

Truth be told, not a lick of this is surprising except for perhaps the timing of the QB moves, but given the contrast between the academic and athletic calendars, that should not be much of a surprise either, regardless of how the headlines are spun.

Both Jonathan Allen and Cam Robinson proved wise beyond their years while putting voice to the player transitions. Is there any question why such leaders are allowed to speak on behalf of the team?

Everything is part of the process. The process Rolls on. Trust the process.
