No. 3 – 2014 Alabama Pitching Staff

The year before that, the Crimson Tide saw one of the better rotations in program history in Littlejohn, Jury and Jaclyn Traina (formerly known as Jackie). That, combined with some great offense, made for a great rebound year after a disappointing 2013.

Littlejohn, who was just starting out as a freshman that year, posted the best ERA (1.49) of the three despite being the underclassmen. She had an 11-2 overall record and 64 strikeouts. Just behind her was the senior, Traina. She saw the most action out of the three with 219 innings and a 26-5 record. She also posted 211 strikeouts. Finally, junior Leslie Jury 2.81 ERA and 129 innings of play. She finished out 2014 with a 16-6 record.

Alabama would make a great run for its second national championship in program history. The Tide fell short in the WCWS against Florida. Alabama lost 5-0 in game one and 6-3 in game two.
