Javier Arenas was the most dynamic punt and kick returner in Alabama football history. When Arenas calm waited for an opponent’s punt, Alabama football fans anticipated excitement. When Javier Arenas got his hands on a football, the air in Bryant-Denny was electric.

In his Alabama football career, Javier Arenas returned seven punts for touchdowns. That stat is an Alabama record, but it could be broken at some future point in time.
