Alabama football continues to dominate. Can anyone stop the Crimson Tide from another championship run?

Nick Saban and his Alabama football team are rolling through their schedule like it’s nobody’s business. Dominating their opponents by a total score of 231-43, and absolutely embarrassing two SEC teams back-to-back.

The Crimson Tide opened up the season against the prominent Florida State and quickly left a crucial statement to the entire college football world. A week ago, Alabama completely shutout the hyped Vanderbilt Commodores by a score of 59-0. Yesterday, they humiliated the Ole Miss Rebels by 63 points.

It is obvious that the Crimson Tide is not only a juggernaut, but a juggernaut on a whole ‘nother’ level. A level that seems to be far beyond the other SEC teams.

The Remaining Teams

Seven games remain on Alabama’s regular season schedule. Only one of those seven opponents are an actual threat to the Crimson Tide. The usual suspect, the Auburn Tigers.

Auburn’s defense is an issue. The Tigers held Clemson to a modest 14 points. Gus and his boys dominated Missouri and Mississippi State. The SEC is pure confusion at this point, so a 39 point win over Mississippi State may or may not be as successful as it appears.

The Iron Bowl will be played at Jordan-Hare Stadium. It will be rowdy. The Tigers could very well be undefeated in the SEC. Which makes this game a must win for Alabama in order to move on to the SEC Championship game.

The Crimson Tide will most likely be undefeated going into the Iron Bowl. The Tide’s remaining schedule features a failing Texas A&M, a mediocre Arkansas, a confused LSU, a disoriented MS State, and whatever you want to call Tennessee.

Auburn hosts Ole Miss this week. We will get a better understating of the Tigers and their defense after this match-up. The Crimson Tide defeated the Rebels 66-3. What will Auburn do?

Can Georgia Hang?

If Alabama continues to roll through their schedule, then they will soon find themselves at the SEC Championship game for the fourth consecutive time. But they will not be facing Missouri or Florida.

The Georgia Bulldogs are edging their way back to the top of the SEC. The Bulldogs took down an impressive Notre Dame and embarrassed Mississippi State and Tennessee. As long as the Florida Gators don’t step in another puddle of lucky water, then the Bulldogs should have a clean shot at the SEC East.

Georgia’s head coach Kirby Smart served as Nick Saban’s defensive coordinator from 2008-2015. The Bulldogs are extremely impressive and remind many college football analysts of a Saban-era Alabama football team.

The two best friends meeting up in a SEC Championship game would be an enjoyable experience, but I am not 100% positive Georgia could hang with the Tide.

The SEC West is a whole different playground compared to the East. If the Alabama Crimson Tide can defeat Auburn and go undefeated, then I really don’t think Georgia would be much of a challenge.

Who knows? The Tide may never be stopped.
