Former Alabama football offensive coordinator, Lane Kiffin, trolls Nick Saban on Twitter over his ‘rat poison’ rant.

ICYMI: Saban and Smart are the SEC’s only stable coaches

Lane Kiffin is having a bit of fun on social media regarding the ‘rat poison’ statements from his former employer, Alabama football coach, Nick Saban. Last month, Nick Saban declared the worldwide media a ‘poison’ on his Alabama football team. Most college football analysts and coaches agreed with Coach Saban’s remarks, and the popular rebuttal quickly vanished.

The head coach of the FAU Owls, Lane Kiffin, can’t seem to let the rant go. Coach Kiffin has become extremely favored on twitter the last past few months; due to his controversy and continuous trolling.

Lane Kiffin’s social media buzz has increased greatly this past week. Much speculation points toward Coach Kiffin as a candidate for many SEC head coaching vacancies. Coach Kiffin, being the witty guy he is, has claimed these speculations to be ‘rat poison’ on his FAU football team.

It is no secret that Coach Kiffin is a fan of drama and attention, so his social media actions come at no surprise. He respects Nick Saban a great deal and is most likely only trolling Saban’s ‘rat poison’ rant to increase his social media awareness.

The former Alabama football offensive coordinator has even reached out to the fans for ideas to stop the ‘rat poison’ from taking over his team.

Lane Kiffin’s FAU Owls take on the Marshall Thundering Herd this Friday Night. For Coach Kiffin’s sake, let’s hope the ‘rat poison’ doesn’t affect his football team too much. The FAU Owls are 5-3 and are predicted to win Conference USA.

Lane Kiffin is sure to like his chances to win the C-USA and only hopes the media doesn’t step in the way. It’s clear that Coach Kiffin is only trolling his Twitter followers, but he may want to stay clear of causing a ‘rat poison’ effect on his own head coaching future.
