Alabama football fans are ready to reclaim the upper hand against Clemson. Last season’s, last second heart-breaker has been a heavy burden. Such a burden it even dimmed the normally nightmarish vision of an Iron Bowl loss. Fan fervor normally exceeds a more modulated player perspective. But there is a sense this time Alabama football coaches and players want a victory as much as the most passion-crazed fan.

Alabama football is favored against Clemson. On the eve of the big game, the line is at three points. What Vegas experts call ‘the Sharps’ favor the Tide, smaller wager-makers have chosen Clemson. ‘Sharps’ often wager higher dollars and in this contest, they mostly jumped on the odds when the Tide was favored by two points or less.

Are the ‘sharp’ bettors smarter at wagering than the ‘casual’ bettors? Not necessarily, though they spend more time analyzing their bets. Alabama football does lose games after being tabbed the favorite. Doing so is almost inevitable. To understand why check out the tweet below.
