Following the recent NFL Combine, a new Mock Draft has 11 former Alabama football players being drafted by NFL teams next month.

Fourteen Alabama football players participated in the recent NFL Draft Combine. On Wednesday five additional players along with several from the Combine group will work out for NFL teams at the Alabama Pro Day.

Working in front of NFL teams again will be Rashaan Evans, Robert Foster, Josh Frazier, Da’Shawn Hand, Calvin Ridley, J.K. Scott, Bo Scarbrough and Lev Wallace. Joining that group in workouts will be J.C. Hassenauer, Austin Johnson, Jamar King, Cam Sims and Brad Bozeman.

Meeting with teams but not working out on Wednesday will be Da’Ron Payne, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Anthony Averett, Tony Brown, Ronnie Harrison and Shaun Dion Hamilton. Payne and Fitzpatrick don’t need to do more to impress NFL teams. Hamilton is still recovering from his knee injury. Ronnie Harrison has a minor injury that kept him from running at the Combine. Ridley does not have much need to impress either and may be hoping for a slight improvement on his Combine 40-time of 4.44.

Matt Miller in Bleacher Report published a new seven round, post-Combine Mock Draft. Miller’s analysis has 11 former Alabama football players being drafted in the first six rounds of the draft. Other pre-Combine Mock Drafts had up to three more former Tide players being drafted. The Alabama football draft record was set last year with 10 players drafted.

Most Alabama football fans will be pleased by Miller’s efforts with one big exception. He does not have Minkah as the first defensive back chosen. Miller has Ohio State’s Denzel Ward going at No. 6 and Minkah at No. 7.

Scott projected in the 6th round. Robert Foster and Josh Frazier were projected as possible 7th round selections. Foster also improved his Draft chances at the Combine.
