4. Eddie Lacy

Eddie Lacy did not disappoint during his short stint with Alabama football. Lacy committed to the Tide in February 2009 but redshirted because of the duo of Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson. In 2010, Alabama featured an insane three-headed headed monster of Ingram, Richardson, and Lacy.  Eddie would complete the season with 406 yards, a 7.3 yards per carry average and six touchdowns.

Lacy shared carries with superstar Trent Richardson in 2011 and was drawing rave reviews. There were rumblings that NFL scouts were drooling over Lacy more than the steady Richardson. Eddie closed the season with 674 yards, a 7.1 ypc, and six touchdowns. He rushed for a season-high 161 yards against North Texas.

The spin move maestro had 1,322 yards rushing and 17 touchdowns during his junior season. He was unstoppable against Georgia in the SEC Championship game and Notre Dame for the BCS championship. Eddie rushed for 181 yards and two scores against the Bulldogs and 140 yards and two total touchdowns versus the Fighting Irish. His heroic play in the BCS championship game led to the MVP award.
