Michigan State vs. Penn State in State College, PA

The last time Penn State played, they suffered a heartbreaking loss to number three Ohio State 27-26. Fresh off a bye week, the number eight Nittany Lions are completely refocused with underachieving Michigan State Spartans coming to Happy Valley. James Franklin will get Penn State back on track to challenge for the Big Ten title.

Northwestern defeated the Spartans 29-19 last week. Michigan State has been a disappointment this season. Their run defense is allowing an unholy 33.8 yards per contest to lead the nation. However, the pass defense is giving up 305.2 yards a game.

The Spartan offense is leaning on junior quarterback Brian Lewerke due to a non-existent running game. The leading rusher, Connor Heyward, is averaging 3.5 yards-per-carry and only has 147 yards through five games.

Look for Trace McSorley and the Nittany Lions to cruise past Michigan State.
