For Alabama, the one main constant has been the unshakable performance of Tua Tagovailoa. No one has been able to slow him down or keep the Tide from pulling away by such a margin to demand Tagovailoa’s services during the fourth quarter. Does that change this week against Missouri? Possibly. In SEC play this year Missouri has been able to keep it close against Georgia and South Carolina. However, I think the Diggs injury helps Saban motivate his team to dominate on both sides of the ball. I think the Tide gets pressure on Lock all day with over five sacks.
Game Prediction: Alabama 52 Missouri 24

Missouri is coming off a tough 37-35 loss to South Carolina. Missouri’s offense is a solid team. They were able to keep pace with South Carolina and even scored 29 on Georgia’s. The Zou’s defense has given up a lot of points, including 37 given up against 2-3 Purdue.
Despite a solid Missouri offense, Alabama will outscore Missouri in almost every scenario possible.

The timing of CB Trevon Diggs’ season-ending injury and Missouri coming to town are going to make this game look a little worse than it actually is. To put this to rest: Bama’s defense is what it is. Against potent offenses, it’s going to give up some yards and points, but rest assured that the Tigers’ defense is not as good as the Tide’s and the Tide offense is bonkers. Happy Homecoming, y’all!

Don’t sleep on Mizzou. This is a really talented offense with an outstanding quarterback. Alabama had sufficient defensive issues last week. Those issues cannot reoccur this week. If they do, then Drew Lock could easily surpass 300-yards. I personally believe that the defense will come out firing on all cylinders. They received their wake-up call and plan to act upon it. Tua should have a huge day. Running the ball against Missouri’s impressive front seven will be difficult.

Missouri is an excellent offensive team. Attempting to win in a shootout with Alabama resembles attempting to go blow for blow with Deontay Wilder.
Not happening.
Quarterback Drew Lock has not fared well against strong defensive teams. In his last two games, Lock is 40-of-84 for 425 yards with no touchdowns and three interceptions. Additionally, he will be missing two key wide receivers for the game.
Expect a raucous environment at Bryant Denny Stadium for homecoming.

So many Tigers. Who would have thought the most tooth-less is the Auburn variety. Missouri is better than its record and better than the perception of most Alabama football fans.
Drew Lock is a future NFL starter but will not be the best QB on the field. The Missouri front seven is stout and it will be interesting to see how much push the Crimson Tide O-line gets against them.
The most interesting aspect of the game will be possible improved performance from the Alabama football defense. How well will the Tide play in dime without Trevon Diggs? After being disrespected by the Hogs, look for the Tide D to be fired up.
Game Prediction: Alabama 45 – Missouri 17
Chris Dodson has his finger on the pulse of the younger Crimson Tide fanbase. He has a bonus prediction for this week: Dixieland Delight doesn’t get played in BDS past this week.
