Alabama head coach Nick Saban is 2-0 in his career against Missouri, with both wins coming during his tenure at UA. Missouri head coach Barry Odom is in his third season with the Tigers and will be facing Alabama for the first time in his career on Saturday."

Overall Series Record: Alabama leads the series 3-2

The Crimson Tide has an all-time Homecoming game record of 83-13-1.

Saturday will be a test for the Crimson Tide defense to reassert itself after giving up 31 points to Arkansas last week.

The Crimson Tide will be using a new dime formation group after the injury last week to Trevon Diggs. Jared Mayden is expected to start in the dime unit at safety. Saivion Smith will replace Diggs at cornerback in the base and nickel formations.

Missouri Tigers

Missouri is led offensively by talented quarterback, Drew Lock. Lock has a strong, accurate arm and gets the ball out quickly. Drew Lock has over 10,000 passing yards in his career. He will test the Tide defense. The Tigers receiving group will be short-handed and without its top WR, Emanuel Hall.

The Tigers have a good defensive front seven and are capable of stopping the run.

What to expect

Missouri had a tough loss at South Carolina last Saturday, losing 37-35, on a last-second
field goal. Missouri may be effective negating the Tide’s rushing attack but without consistent pressure, Tua Tagovailoa should pick apart the Missouri secondary.

Alabama football will need to get pressure on Drew Lock without bringing frequent extra pass rushers. Otherwise, the newly re-staffed Tide secondary will face a big challenge.

The Alabama Crimson Tide should post its seventh win of the season on Saturday.

Next. What Missouri must do to stop Tua. dark

Good luck Tigers on that stopping Tua thing. We don’t think so.
