Alabama Football: Week eight key games for Crimson Tide fans
By Ronald Evans
Vanderbilt at Kentucky
Mark Stoops has done a great job for the Wildcats. Stoops has his team in the conversation to win the SEC East. He easily has the best football team in the state of Kentucky. The season is approaching late October and Cats fans are not just talking up basketball. That’s pretty impressive accomplishments for Mark.
Derek Mason always fields a defense that will fight hard for 60 minutes. The problem for the Dores is the offense is too inconsistent, forcing the defense to carry too heavy a load. The Dores may try to load up to stop Benny Snell but it will not take many Wildcats’ points to win.
The Dores may keep it close for a half. Vandy is a solid 11.5 points dog and the Kentucky defense should assure a victory.

Alabama football fans will be primed for a Purdue upset over Ohio State. Most Alabama Crimson Tide fans would also prefer an Oklahoma loss that would eliminate the Sooners from the CFB Playoff picture. Per SBRodds.com Ohio State is a 12-13 point favorite. Oklahoma is favored by eight points over TCU. It is hard to see an upset in either game.
