Mississippi State Bulldogs

The Bulldogs have been inconsistent in producing wins under first-year head coach, Joe Morehead. What has been consistent is the quality of the Bulldogs defense, especially the defensive line.

Mississippi State is coming off back-to-back wins over Texas A&M and Louisiana Tech. The Bulldogs lead the SEC in scoring defense at only 12.3 points per game. Bulldogs QB, Nick Fitzgerald is known as a powerful runner but has been mostly held in check by the Crimson Tide in his Mississippi State career.

What to expect

The Alabama Crimson Tide faces another stiff defensive challenge. The Bulldogs must keep the game low scoring. The Crimson Tide should have plenty of opportunities to attack Mississippi State through a Tua Tagovailoa led aerial attack.

For the Alabama Crimson Tide, the challenge will be to not ease up after last week’s big win over LSU. The game’s big matchup will be the Tide offensive line against the tough Bulldogs defensive front.
