Alabama Football: Bama Hammer staff SEC Championship game predictions

First, let me lead off with the hope that I am completely wrong in my thinking and I’m just being a very overly-critical Bama fan.
That being said, I think this game is going to be extremely close. Alabama football simply doesn’t like it did back early in the season, although you could argue that’s more due to the opposition being more competitive. Georgia will be the biggest test yet.
Alabama played two different halves against Auburn. It cannot do that against this Georgia team and expect to win. Much of the UGA team remembers what Alabama did to them last year and they won’t allow it to happen again. Georgia is just as good as expected this year, if not better.
If Alabama football lets this get close (which I think it will) then Alabama is in very deep trouble. If the Georgia Bulldogs can keep up with them every step of the game, they will win. That’s especially if Alabama lets up even a little in the first half as it has been doing. Making that mistake could mean game over. I’m sorry to do this, but I’m predicting a Bulldog victory over Alabama in the SEC Championship. I hope I’m wrong, but I’m taking the pessimistic route here. I still think Alabama football is in the College Football Playoff if this result holds, however.
