The Georgia Bulldogs have played very well since losing to LSU by 20 points in mid-October. It is no secret revenge is a motivating factor for the Dawgs after last season’s crushing loss to the Crimson Tide in the national championship game.
Kirby Smart will be trying to become the first former Saban assistant to beat Nick as a head coach.

What to expect
The Alabama Crimson Tide will be competing for its 27th SEC Football Championship. The Crimson Tide last won the SEC title in 2016. Georgia will be attempting to win its 14th SEC Championship. The Bulldogs won the title last season.
Despite the advantage given the Crimson Tide by oddsmakers, the SEC Championship should be a four-quarter game.
The Bulldogs beat the Crimson Tide last in 2007, an overtime win in Tuscaloosa. Alabama football has a four-game winning streak since then.
