Alabama football fans will be drilled down on the Tide versus South Carolina in Columbia.

Clemson at Syracuse

If Dabo’s 2019 group is the juggernaut most believe, Cuse in the Carrier Dome is not a huge challenge. If it isn’t or this early in the season, isn’t yet; the Orangemen might have a chance for an upset.

Florida at Kentucky

Kentucky needs to prove 10 wins in 2018 was no fluke. Getting a win in Gainesville last September was the major boost the Wildcats needed. Doing it again, even in Lexington but without Josh Allen and Benny Snell will be tough. Later in the season, the Gators have Auburn, at LSU and Georgia. It is hard to see Dan Mullen’s team competing for an SEC East title if it cannot beat the Wildcats.

Kansas State at Mississippi State

This game should not define either team’s season. But, Mississippi State lost to Kentucky, Florida, LSU, Alabama and Iowa last season. One of the eight wins in 2018 was in Manhattan, KS against the KSU Wildcats. Some are already wondering if Joe Moorhead should have remained in the safer confines of northeast football. A loss would make the Bulldogs look the direction is down in Starkville.
