The Tide will cover the spread easily

Dabo Swinney went on a diatribe about the deepness of the SEC. He felt Alabama did not face tough SEC opponents because Alabama won games by an average of 33.1 points per game. Well, Duke is a middle of the pack ACC football team that Clemson defeated 35-6 last season. If the Blue Devils were an SEC affiliate, they would dwell in the cellar with Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, and Arkansas.

Duke head coach David Cutcliffe mentioned Alabama during his Tuesday press conference,

"“I think they are probably the most talented team, top to bottom, in the country. That’s what I honestly think. Along with that they are extremely well coached. They don’t have a lot of penalties They don’t bust assignments. They don’t make errors. They make you play their strengths.”"

Short of saying it is a revenge tour, Alabama will make sure the nation knows it is ready to play and is still the top program on the land. Offense, defense, and special teams are sure to provide fireworks Saturday night.

Bama wins 62-0.
