Ole Miss weekend is filled with lots of top Alabama football recruits from the 2020 and 2021 class and a big name basketball prospect as well.

How many wins will Alabama football get this weekend? The Alabama Crimson Tide is expected to not just win a football game but possibly pick up a couple of high profile recruits as well.

It is getting close to increased recruiting frenzy with signing dates coming up in November for basketball and the Early Signing Period for football in December. Both Crimson Tide programs would like to close on guys this weekend.

Three Alabama football recruits from the 2020 class are in Tuscaloosa on official visits. Alabama football verbal commit, Demouy Kennedy is the top official visitor. Kennedy is a 4-Star LB, rated the No. 3 ILB and No. 51 player overall. Kennedy’s stock continues to rise. It will be no surprise if he earns a fifth star before the recruiting cycle ends.

The other pair of official 2020 visitors are 4-Star, DT, McKinnley Jackson and 4-Star WR, Xzavier Henderson. Henderson is the No. 12 rated wide receiver and No. 66 player overall. Clemson has been thought to lead for the Miami, FL player, but new Tide commit, QB Bryce Young is already making a difference.

Jackson is the No. 10 rated DT and No. 112 player overall. McKinnley says he will not announce until February but the Alabama football staff will push for an earlier decision. Jackson and Henderson are believed to be takes in a class with few open slots.

Jackson will see two other 2020 defensive line prospects in Tuscaloosa this weekend. Nazir Stackhouse and Jamil Burroughs are also in Tuscaloosa. Both 4-Star recruits are on unofficial visits. Stackhouse is a Georgia commit and Burroughs is a Georgia de-commit. Alabama football insiders say the Tide staff is very high on Burroughs.

Alabama Crimson Tide commits visiting

  • Quandarrius Robinson LB – No. 35 player overall in the 2020 class
  • Roydell Williams RB – No. 86 player overall in 2020 class
  • Will Anderson LB – No. 98 player overall in 2020 class
  • Brian Branch DB – No. 108 player overall in 2020 class
  • Javon Baker WR – No. 124 player overall in 2020 class
  • Drake Maye QB – No. 65 player overall in the 2021 class

Also visiting are a couple of elite 2021 prospects. One is Pinson Valley’s Ga’Quincey McKinstry, 5-Star, No. 2 rated CB and No. 20 player overall. The other 5-Star is Lee Hunter, No. 4 rated DT and No. 27 player overall. Auburn is the major competition for McKinstry and Hunter.

The elite basketball prospect is combo guard, 5-Star Nimari Burnett. Nate Oats and his staff have done a great job with Burnett and the Crimson Tide appears to lead. Burnett could have Collin Sexton-like impact in Tuscaloosa.
