Alabama Football: Four Bold Predictions for Tide in November
By Ronald Moody
Tua returns and leads Alabama football to close victory over LSU
The enormous battle between LSU and Alabama will live up to its top billing. Tua Tagovailoa, out since the Tennessee game, will play after requiring tightrope surgery on his right ankle 20 days earlier.
The Heisman candidates Joe Burrow and Tagovailoa will prove they are the best two players in the country. Both defensive coordinators, Pete Golding and Dave Aranda, struggle to find answers for the dynamic quarterbacks.
In the end, Tua and the offense make big plays during the last drive of the game, a la AJ McCarron and Blake Sims to break the Tigers’ hearts again. The victory will leapfrog Tua over Burrow and Jalen Hurts for the Heisman.
Bama wins 42-35. Tua finishes with 400 yards passing and five touchdowns. Najee Harris goes over 100 yards to balance out the offensive attack.
