No. 5 Alabama football faces off against No.15 Auburn Tigers in college football’s best rivalry, the Iron Bowl. Expect a throwback to big boy football, especially in the trenches.  A must-win for Alabama to possibly advance to the playoffs and a must-win for Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn. Game on!

Mired in a state of uncertainty, Alabama football needs a resurrection.

A resurrection like the suave, unflustered James Bond had in the 2012 hit, Skyfall. Left for dead, a physically wrecked Bond returned better than ever to save England once again. Just like Bond, Alabama football, deserted by fans and the media after losing generational talent, Tua Tagovailoa, and countless defensive players succumbing to injuries, seek its resurrection.

Now, the Crimson Tide has to prove to the doubting nation that the loss to LSU is just not enough— they are rebranded and, in fact, playoff material.

Nick Saban spoke of the importance of this year’s Iron Bowl during Monday’s press conference,

"“And maybe as it should be, a lot comes down to this game. It’s kind of the season within the season, so to speak, and I think if you have to explain that to your team or your players, they don’t really know what’s going on in football.”"

Everyone knows Nick.

Ready for the mayhem inside Jordan Hare

How difficult is winning at Jordan Hare?

Alabama has never won at Jordan Hare when both teams are ranked in the top 25. The Tide is 0-6 in ranked matchups in Auburn since 1989.

Jordan Hare Stadium to Alabama is hell on Earth. Imagine the legendary Colosseum during its famous gladiator duels, but rowdier. The fans amped off an equivalent of liquid courage, ensure the stadium is especially rambunctious during the Iron Bowl.
