No Penalties
Ranking no.114 in penalties (7 per game) is very uncharacteristic for the Tide. Knowing what is at stake, Saban needs to ensure the Tide limits penalties to help Auburn. In the 2012 BCS Championship game, the team had one penalty. An offsides penalty in the fourth quarter.
Where have those days gone?
As the team knows that everything is in front of them, their best effort will be on display.
No crazy personal foul calls will jeopardize the Tide chances for a victory.
No Jordan Hare VooDoo Magic This Time Around
Since 2011, if Georgia loses at Jordan Hare, Alabama, it is sure to follow. The environment is bananas and wild; abnormal plays happen to dampen the opponents’ chances of winning. However, Georgia was able to withstand the magic this year, barely.
That should bode well for Alabama. It will not be a cakewalk as Auburn wants to end Alabama playoff hopes.
Alabama football still needs chaos in front of them to make the playoff. None of it matters if they do not win Saturday afternoon.
