and the greatest coach of all time

There is certainly no doubt none of this success would have happened without the greatest coach of all time. The “Coach of the Decade” title was well deserved. I don’t think Mal Moore or anyone could have imagined the success Nick Saban would bring Alabama Athletics when he stepped on campus in January of 2007.

It took Saban only two seasons to transform the rut the Tide had been trapped in since the end of Gene Stallings’ tenure. The ascent was so rapid, it could almost be called sudden. After a slow start in the 2007 season, no one has looked back since. The standard changed from making bowl games to winning championships. Anything less than a National Title now is a disappointment.

We all bought into “The Process”, and we can be sure the greatest coach of all time isn’t done yet.
