Alabama football has not finished with the 2020 class but much of the recruiting effort is now dedicated to the 2021 class and later years. Check out the latest news.

For Alabama football and other elite programs recruiting is nearly a 365 day per year effort. Crimson Tide fans are almost as engaged, following potential targets two, three, even four years in advance of their college decisions.

At Bama Hammer, we don’t get so far ahead. Most of our attention is always on the most current signing class. For the Alabama football staff, the 2020 class is not finished. It is close enough to being finished, the Bama Hammer staff can now begin our several month drill-down on the 2021 class.

While we seek out information from many sources, our go-to recruiting tool is the 247Sports Composite. The Composite uses player rankings from 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN. While these player rankings are meaningless for the Alabama football staff, they are a great tool for the rest of us.

Let’s check out the latest on 2021, Alabama Football Recruits

Another twenty or more names could have been added to our list of top prospects. Among the ones we listed are names some Crimson Tide fans believe are ‘no chance’ for Alabama football. It is too far out to make such assumptions. There will be many changes as the months progress. Even top players will have to camp in Tuscaloosa before a green light is given to commit.
