DEFENSIVE LINE: Going into the fall of the 2019 season, the defensive line unit was set to be Raekwon Davis, DJ Dale, and LaBryan Ray. The only problem was, that Dale and Ray ended up getting hurt, and left the coaches deciding between rising star Christian Baramore, Stephon Wynn, Tevita Musika, and then freshmen Byron Young, and Justin Eboigbe. This season should be quite the line for Alabama as you could see a first group starting out with Christian Barmore, DJ Dale, and LaBryan Ray. Dale surprised most by starting at nose tackle as a true freshman and contributed 17 tackles, one fumble recovery, and one sack.

LaBryan Ray will be another player looking to rebound from an injury and has all the potential in the world. Bring in that same depth you had last year, but add the experience, including true freshman defensive tackle 5-star Tim Smith along the way, and you have yourself a strong defensive front. Alabama fans should be excited about this young, but talented group.
