Alabama Football: Complete first round NFL Mock draft

As much as I love watching Alabama football dominate on Saturdays, I get just as much joy watching those same players dominate on Sundays. Here is my complete first round NFL mock draft complete with all the craziness you would expect during these wild times.

With the novel coronavirus still keeping the country on lockdown many people assumed the NFL draft would be delayed. Roger Goodell would have none of it. It won’t be the splashy wild event that it could have been in Las Vegas. It will still hold plenty of intrigue as the next round of Alabama football players wait to hear their name called to become part of an NFL roster.

Today I bring to you a complete first round mock draft. Several Alabama football players are projected to go in the 1st round and many more are fringe 1st round picks. Will Alabama football be able to break the record for number of players selected from one team in the 1st round? The Miami Hurricanes currently hold the record with six in 2004.

I do mock drafts differently than most pundits around the nation. Most will claim it is ‘too difficult’ to predict trades in a draft and while that is true, isn’t that our job to try to analyze things that are difficult to analyze?

I will be predicting trades for this mock draft. I think there will be a lot of them in this draft given all of the uncertainty surrounding the current world circumstances. Teams are going to be questioning everything more than usual so that will play a big factor in the draft.
