Conclusion)

Tua is a national leader and fighter. From leading the Alabama Crimson Tide back against Georgia in overtime to win the National Championship, to overcoming several heartbreaking injuries, to being a potential Top 5 NFL Draft pick. Not only does he have success in games, but he brings his team together. His coaches love him, his teammates love him. Even fans of opposing teams love him.

In nearly all of my mock drafts, I have the Miami Dolphins selecting Tua Tagovailoa with the No. 5 pick, or higher if needed. The Dolphins have a staggering 14 NFL draft picks this year, and although No. 5 is a “risky” pick, they still have 2 more 1st-round picks, and then 11 more afterward. The Dolphins have been to the playoffs only 4 times in 20 years. Going to the postseason just 20 percent in the last 20 years does not scream success. The Dolphins should not be averse to risk. Their history almost demands boldness.

On Thursday night, all the contradictions, hypotheticals, rumors, mock drafts are out the door. You will see the Miami Dolphins select Alabama quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, at some point.

Any NFL team should take a “risk” if that is what they call Tua, and play it out. The worst for the Dolphins is they waste a draft pick. That is not uncommon for the Dolphins as only 3 players since the 2010 draft are still on the roster. Sometimes you just need to swing for the fences and hope it flies.
