Alabama Football: Current 2021 Signing Class Verbal Commits

Verbal commitment decisions keep bolstering the enthusiasm of Alabama football fans. Now with 15 verbal commits, the 2021 class is ranked at No. 2 in the team rankings calculated by the 247Sports Composite. It could end up being one of the best Alabama Crimson Tide classes ever.
Terrence Ferguson announced his decision Sunday. A 4-Star, Ferguson was once believed to be solid to the Georgia Bulldogs. The No. 2 guard prospect in the nation and No. 47 player overall is a major get for Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide.
A week ago, we wrote the Crimson Tide was in great shape for nine top 2021 targets. Message board and social media chatter often claim the Alabama football class for 2021 will grow by another two or three commits before the start of fall camp.
Below are the current Crimson Tide verbal commits ranked as rated by the 247Sports Composite.
- Tommy Brockermeyer (All Saints, Fort Worth, TX); 5-Star; No. 1 rated offensive tackle and No. 5 player overall. Lead Recruiters are Karl Scott and Kyle Flood.
- J.C. Latham (IMG Academy, Bradenton, FL); 5-Star; No. 5 rated offensive tackle and the No. 17 player overall. Lead recruiters are Charles Huff and Kyle Flood.
- Jacory Brooks (Booker T. Washington High, Miami, FL); 5-Star; No. 2 rated wide receiver and the No. 27 player overall. Lead recruiters are Charles Huff and Holman Wiggins.
- Dallas Turner (St. Thomas Aquinas High, Fort Lauderdale, FL); 4-Star; No. 2 weakside defensive end and No. 44 player overall. Leads recruiters are Charles Huff and Pete Golding.
- Terrence Ferguson (Peach County, Fort Valley, GA); 4-Star; No. 2 rated offensive guard and No. 47 player overall. Lead recruiters are Charles Kelly and Kyle Flood.
- Aglye Hall (Bloomingdale High, Valrico, FL); 4-Star; No. 11 rated wide receiver and No. 70 player overall. Lead recruiters are Jeff Banks and Holman Wiggins.
- Deontae Lawson (Mobile Christian School, Mobile, AL); 4-Star; No. 5 rated inside linebacker and No. 111 player overall. Lead recruiters are Sal Sunseri and Pete Golding.

Could the 2021 offensive line group be the best ever for one signing class? Even without adding any more o-linemen, it is fair to argue it will be the Tide’s best.
