Alabama football is raking in offensive linemen recruits in the 2021 class.

With the future of college football remaining uncertain, one bright spot for Alabama football and Crimson Tide fans has been recruiting. The 2021 recruiting class had a bit of a slow start for Nick Saban and company, but the wheels have been churning in recent weeks.

JC Latham’s commitment seems like a lifetime ago. Since then, Alabama has landed Dallas Turner, Kendrick Blackshire, and plenty of other stars. Their recent additions have been Tommy and James Brockermeyer, twin offensive linemen from Texas.

Alabama football isn’t done with this offensive line class.

Alabama already has the best offensive tackle, the fifth-best offensive tackle, and the best center in the 2021 recruiting class. However, they are looking to land a couple of more offensive linemen. One of their next top targets is Terrence Ferguson, the second-best guard in the 2021 recruiting class. After that, they might be able to make some magic with what’s left.

One key recruit that Alabama would love to land would be Amarius Mims, but this seems unlikely now. Alabama already has two five-star OTs. Getting three in one recruiting class is unheard of. Even without him, this class will be historic for Alabama football.

Alabama will likely look to convert a lower-level tackle to guard or recruit another guard for this class. One name to look out for is William Parker. He would not be able to compete against Tommy Brockermeyer or JC Latham, but he could compete to be a quality guard.

This would give Alabama an entire starting O-line in one recruiting class, which is simply unheard of. Even with how elite offensive linemen have been in the past for Alabama, this class would be legendary. You would have tackles that compete with Alex Leatherwood and Jedrick Wills in terms of potential, and two of the best interior offensive linemen in the entire 2021 recruiting class.

We are a long time away from National Signing Day, but this recruiting class is shaping up to be one of Saban’s best. Its overwhelming strength is the offensive line. If Alabama can land Ferguson, then it will be one of the best O-line classes in Alabama football history.
