Alabama Football Top Offensive Targets

Positions of need take precedence. On offense, the most pressing needs are offensive line and tight end. With four offensive linemen committed, there appears to be room for only one more. Five-Star, Amarius Mims is the obvious plum. Kirby will probably win that battle. Left for the Crimson Tide is 4-Star, Jager Burton and 3-Star, William Parker. The Tide staff is also pursuing 5-Star, Tristan Leigh, but recruiting experts believe Leigh will go elsewhere.

Nick Saban wants a quarterback every cycle. In this cycle, the Tide is focused on flipping a QB. Either  4-Star, Jalen Milroe from the Texas Longhorns or 4-Star, Luke Altmyer from FSU.

One or two tight ends is a high priority. The Alabama football staff would love to bring in 4-Star, Michael Trigg. Trigg also has an offer from Nate Oats. As of now, gaining Trigg appears unlikely. The other top tight end prospect, 3-Star, Robbie Ouzts could join the 2021 class at any time.

One or two wide receivers are needed. Brian Thomas Jr., 4-Star from Walker, LA is a top target. So is 4-Star, Malsom Johnson Jr. from Alexandria, VA. Both players are sensational prospects being chased by many top programs. Other options might be 4-Stars, Deion Smith and Destyn Pazon.

Will the Crimson Tide sign a running back in 2021? Maybe, but given the current roster, maybe not.
