Alabama Football: Bold predictions for each of Tide’s 2020 opponents

Bold predictions for Alabama football’s opponents: Arkansas Razorbacks
Arkansas won’t win a football game this year.
This seems harsh, but Arkansas took the biggest loss from the new schedule news. Arkansas relies heavily on easy non-conference wins to have a prayer of becoming bowl eligible. With ten games in the SEC, that’s completely out the window. Winning three games would be a huge success for the Razorbacks.
It’s not just that Arkansas has to play SEC opponents. The specific foes in their way are perennial powerhouses. Arkansas is clearly the worst team in the SEC West, so any win there would be a true upset. They were already slated to play Tennessee. The Vols are trending up, so that would be a tough game to win for Arkansas. The added games were against Florida and Georgia, the two best teams in the SEC East. Their best hope is that they can find a way to beat Missouri on the road.
I’m sure this isn’t what Feleipe Franks was hoping for when he transferred to play for the Razorbacks, but this is the new normal for Arkansas. They might get lucky and upset a team or two on the way to an abysmal record, but they surely won’t contend with Alabama football. The Crimson Tide will likely have their bench in by halftime.
