What if you drafted a fantasy football team with only Alabama football players?

Fantasy football is one of the most entertaining pieces of an NFL season. As always, Alabama football players will be near the top of fantasy draft boards. With that in mind, let’s take a look at an all-Alabama fantasy football team.

Before we start, there are two things to keep in mind. For starters, this is for a PPR league, meaning receptions are more valuable for receivers and running backs. Also, we’re not going to draft a defense or a kicker.

Alabama football’s all-fantasy football team

QB: Tua Tagovailoa

This one is obvious. Your only options are Tua, Jalen Hurts, or A.J. McCarron. While we don’t know when or if Tua will start, he’s your best chance of getting points. Once he is a seasoned veteran, he will likely be drafted early for most teams.

RB: Derrick Henry

Henry is coming off of his best NFL season to date, winning the rushing title and carrying the Titans to the AFC Championship. I doubt that we’ll get as great of a season this year, but he will still have the lion’s share of the carries in Nashville. It helps both parties if the Titans pound the ball with Derrick Henry.

RB: Josh Jacobs

Jacobs is a dream to have on a PPR team. With Las Vegas’s inability to stretch the field, he gets plenty of dump-down passes from Carr. He is also dangerous on a screen or a simply handoff. He had a great rookie season, and health is the only thing that could hold him back in the upcoming year.

WR: Julio Jones

Julio has to be near the top of every fantasy draft board. He’s unstoppable with the Falcons. His value diminishes slightly in a PPR league because he’s more of a home-run hitter, but he’s definitely WR1 for the Tide.

WR: Amari Cooper

The Cowboys have a great wide receiving corps, but Cooper is the top dog in Dallas. He’s one of the best receivers in the NFL, and he can have a breakout performance in any game.

TE: Irv Smith Jr.

Alabama football has two tight ends that are worth adding to your fantasy football team, but both of them are likely going to be playing behind some stars this year. I chose Irv over OJ Howard because I believe the Vikings are still trying to figure out how good he is. He’s definitely their tight end of the future, and he steps closer to the future every day.

FLEX: Kenyan Drake

Your FLEX can be any skill position player, and I think Drake is the most valuable option. He will be the clear starter for Arizona, and he’s going to impact the running and passing game. Other options would work, but I like Drake’s odds to consistently score points in fantasy football.

Bench: Mark Ingram

Ingram will be a good option to start the NFL season, but I’m expecting J.K. Dobbins to earn more reps as the season continues.

Bench: Calvin Ridley

Ridley won’t be WR1 in Atlanta until Julio retires, but he is still going to play a major role this year. If he stays healthy, he could slide into the FLEX position.

Bench: Jerry Jeudy

Rookie wide receivers are always hit or miss, but Jeudy is worth stashing on your bench. In a PPR league, his route-running becomes more valuable. He might not be the home-run hitter every time, but he will consistently be open for Drew Lock.

Bench: Henry Ruggs III

I hope that Ruggs excels in the NFL, but I don’t know how much he will see the ball as a rookie. The Raiders aren’t going to throw the ball deep very often, and that’s where HRIII thrives.

Bench: O.J. Howard

Having tight end depth is always valuable. If Gronk gets hurt, I could easily see Howard becoming a consistent target for Tom Brady. Howard could also be traded at some point in the season.

Next. No college football would hurt these players the most. dark

Would an Alabama football team win your fantasy football league? Probably not. However, it will make sure you root for your favorite Crimson Tide players on Sundays.
