Alabama football’s best 5-star prospects: 35-31

35. Evan Neal

Neal is the team’s next star left tackle, but he won’t get that role until his junior year. He started as a freshman at guard simply because he was too good to bench. He will likely replace Jedrick Wills at right tackle in 2020. He’s waiting his turn, but he will be a first-round player when it’s all said and done.

34. Nico Johnson

Nico Johnson’s stats don’t jump off the page, but he had a significant impact on multiple championship teams. He racked up tackles for loss and forced multiple fumbles. He’s not one of the best linebackers to ever play for Alabama, but he is a name that many remember fondly.

33. Bo Scarbrough

Bo’s injuries limited his college impact, but he was an absolute wrecking ball alongside Damien Harris. I personally believe that Alabama football would have won the 2016 title if he stayed healthy against Clemson. Either way, Bo played a pivotal role in 2016 despite being second string. He deserved more recognition and carries.

32. Dee Milliner

Milliner’s NFL career may have failed, but he was a true lockdown corner for the Crimson Tide. At the start of the Alabama football dynasty, he was a part of one of Saban’s first star-studded classes. He helped prove that Alabama wasn’t a one-hit wonder. It wasn’t just Javier Arenas at corner. It’s Dee Milliner after him, and the next star after him.

31. Tony Brown

Tony Brown earned a lot of goodwill in his college career with his final season. He’s a fan favorite for sure. He’d walk shirtless through the opposing team’s warmup. He let the whole world know that Hunter Renfrow lied. Brown also ripped away an interception in the National Championship.
