Alabama football’s team captain candidates

Najee Harris, RB

Najee is almost destined to be a team captain as a senior running back. This is very similar to when Damien Harris returned for his senior season. No matter who shines behind him, Najee is going to be the face of this offense in 2020.

Alabama football is looking to turn back to the running game without Tua Tagovailoa under center. Najee is going to receive at least 20 touches a game, and he has the talents to make every play. As we’ve said before, Najee Harris is a unicorn that cannot be compared to any former Crimson Tide running back.

Dylan Moses, LB

Moses has been a leader of the defense since his freshman season. He was unfortunately out for his junior year due to injury, but he returned to take care of unfinished business.

The quarterback of the defense is a vital position in Nick Saban’s scheme. Losing Dylan Moses last season really hurt the overall defense in 2019, but his return will be key for Alabama football’s success.

Alabama will want to have both offensive and defensive captains, and Moses is the top candidate for a defensive captain. When things get tough, the team will turn to him to keep everything on track.

Next. Realistic expectations for Bryce Young. dark

Overall, these four athletes will be great captains for the Alabama Crimson Tide. No matter what happens in 2020, the captains will keep Alabama football on track.
